On cervical cancer..

Just had a call from Nanay.. She's been urging us to get vaccinated for Cervical Cancer....not that cancer runs in the family but it's better safe than sorry. I will get my shots next payday. It's a bit costly however it'd be worth it. Also, its one way of being responsible for yourself and your family. I personally encourage every female who reads this blog to be smart and get vaccinated.

Cervical cancer is caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is transmitted sexually. Unlike other types of cancer, cervical cancer can be prevented by a cervical screening and/or cervical cancer vaccine. Based on the article written in ScienceDirect’s webiste, cervical cancer remains one of the leading type of cancer in Asia including the Philippines.
