Anyhow....'tis one of the things I did while on holiday...went to a mountain resort spa and treated myself with a whole body Thai massage and some tea afterwards. Naaah...it's not pennyroyal...it was just ginger, I think. Hehe... And while were at it, did you know that pennyroyal teas are supposedly abortive? Mr. Cobain does not believe so though...

Okaaaaaaay......well, its Saturday. What are your plans for the weekend?

I'm back.

Hiyeeee! I am finally back from my holiday! :)) And to be honest, I haven't fully recovered yet from all the partying and the out of town trips...haha! I went home just in time for Masskara festival and the booze sessions were just endless. It was lovely to see my mother though, and my siblings and their wee ones. I also visited some good 'ol friends whom I havent seen for gawd knows how long. Ha! :)

Anyhowz........at some point during that week, I needed some down time with myself, so I decided to go for a little hike and visited this waterfalls. It was a bit nostalgic because I used to come here a LOT while growing up. This place just brought back a lot of memories to me. I remember jumping off its ledge and bathe in its freezing water....arrr...

any given Sunday...

Sundays are all about lazying and hanging out with your friends.
it's about home cooked meals and barbecues.....or perhaps an idyllic trip to an old water dam, bathing in your summer dress.....mindless of anything but the cascading water
and the soft kiss of sundown upon your cheeks...

Am looking forward to more of these. x

I know this blog is sort of mixed in terms of content, but I have to tell you that am at my most organic state whenever I talk about 'the great outdoors'. I dunno.... the photos above speaks a lot of who I am as a person and it makes me sort of sentimental. Truth is, nothing gives me utmost joy than to sit in a hammock and just be quiet....absorbing every bits of good vibez that nature exudes....taking pleasure of its rawness. This is what truly makes me happy....this is what makes me whole.........more than a new pair of shoes or a dainty skirt.

Chasing waterfalls part II

Hellooooooooo!! Happy weekend everyone... :) The heat wave is still at its worst and the only way to relieve ourselves from it is to go somewhere cool and breezy and awesome like...errrm.....the waterfalls? Yes, AGAIN.

This too, is only two hours away from the metro. It has got two basins and the one above is like 15 ft. deep. I just love how placid the water looks.

For me, this is the best way to chill! I enjoy the quietness...and the breeze...and how the leaves dramatically fall down in front of you....the sound of the gushing water.... ahhh...talk about zen!




Then we found this abandoned tree house which I think is COOL. I've always wanted one! :) Arrrrrggh...

Speaking of waterfalls........................

Dang! Dang! It's another road trippin day for me.... :) We went out of town to visit this gorgeous waterfalls about 2hrs from where I live. The heat is just CRAZY out here and chasing waterfalls is such a welcoming idea.

We had bbq and tuna in mushroom for lunch on top of this massive flat rock that sits a few feet from the falls. Coolness!


Falls today, beach tomorrow. I'll be out of town again with friends for some beach bummin. Be back Sunday. Plus I need to show you some fantastic thrift finds very soon. Have a lovely weekend dearies! :)
