Truth be known, Ive been living in this top for about a week now. o_O Gross, no? It's one of the comfiest thing Ive ever owned. Thanks to the huge arm holes. Ha!

Seriously though, it's my favorite blouse.......and I want three more for christmas. ^___^

Helloo all.
Here's a quick outfit post for today. Just so you know, I'll be channeling Hagrid in the next few months. I just had my hair permed and was aiming for that Carrie look but I realized, it's kinda leaning more towards Mr. Hagrid's.....perhaps I should grow a beard or something.

On a side note, have you started with your christmas shopping yet? Coz I haven't. o_O Arrr....

Hoot! hoot!

Hiyee. Another one of those lazy Saturday afternoons... Am just popping to show you this t-shirt dress I scored from the thrift store some weeks ago. 150pesos for this cutie... :) I just instantly fell in love with the huge hootie print.... how can you not? Arrr....

Then these photos below were from last night...mind you, I stayed home for the last two days watching bad TV and scribbling nonsense on my notepad, taking dorky snapshots of myself...how lame is that? Haha.. Gaaawd, I was too tired...too darn lazy to go out. Don't you have those days?

Anyhow...I still think these self portraits are nice and will hang them soon in a cool frame or maybe i should do a photo line or something like that. I'll try to have them in gray scale too and see how it goes. I have a thing for black and whites by the way. :)

little happy dress

Hello! How have you been? Just popping up for a quick post. I have been away over the weekend and just got back from the beach. Sad to say am suffering from a slight sunburn at the moment... :( Huhu.. Any quick remedies?




Thrifted tiered dress at 100pesos only! The best bargain I've ever had recently...that's about a little over a pound. Nice deal? :) I call it my "little happy dress"... it's sunny colors are soooo infectious, you can't be sad.

Tsunami and then some..

*SIGH* I've been sat in front of the TV for the last 5 hours and bracing ourselves for the reported Tsunami that will supposedly hit PI at 2 this afternoon. NOT that were near the coasts facing the Pacific nor this dress would be of any good for running in case calamity strikes...ARRGHH! hahaha! But it's better that you know what's going on around you and see what you can do to help in case these giant waves crash upon your shores.....tsk. It's not our fault that we sat in this so called Pacific Ring of Fire....together with Chile and yes, Haiti. Ugh. Samoa too and Indonesia...I am so hoping that these quakes don't hit Philippines soon. I am beginning to worry actually because our apartment is situated near a fault line... O_o Geez... maybe I should start wearing my running shoes to sleep... just in case.. :)

It's hot in herre!

Some parts of the world may be snowing.... but definitely not Philippines. It's 34.6 degrees celcius today and RISING..... AAARRRRRRRGGHHH!! The hottest temperature year to date and it's starting to become annoying. It seems that were not spared from the wrath of climate change after all...ha! I am sooo tempted to take out Mig's inflatable pool and soak myself with cold water all day looooong!

I'd probably go somewhere cool and breezy tomorrow.... tsk...... :(

Orange and lemons..

Hiyeeee! zup?? It's a veeeery sunny day out here...not a cloud in the sky. I spent the afternoon crafting in the terrace and the breeze is just blowing on my face which eventually lulled me into siesta. Woke up at around 5 and watched Food Network. *SIGH* Am just lazying around really.... Am suppose to go out and buy some fabric and look for nice ballerina flats but gaaawd, i cant be bothered.

ANywaay, here's what I've been working on from the last few days. First off is this cutey dress and you wouldn't believe that it's from an old vest top and a yard of fabric which only costed me around 35pesos! Weeeeeee! :)) Gosh! I love sewing! The midrib part though, where the top meets the skirt is quite tight and I had trouble getting myself into the dress!! ha! Talk about struggle!

And these muh ladeez, are our new throw pillows at home. :) We are into Moroccan theme at the moment and mind you, we change our wall colors almost every year!! It's crazy!

I dunno how to put zippers yet so these knots will do for the moment.

AND lastly, my button bracelets! :) YAAAAYYYY!! I brought a couple of pieces to work and it sold like hotcakes! wooohoo! Watch out because am giving not one but two bracelets very soon..

Gawd I cant believe am up at 6am on a Sunday...arrrr! I went out for some drinkies the other night and got home pretty much wasted the following morning. Ive spent the entire day sleeping and recovering from the hangover...sheeesh. :( Am suppose to meet up with Loyd and Lev for coffee yesterday but too tired to go and about.....I ordered a box of pizza instead and watched some lame war films on dvd. Unfortunately, I fell asleep in the middle of Pearl Harbor and just woke myself up to pee. So much for my supposed "weekend frolic"... *sigh* I am just being lazy these days.......

However, today I am up with a mission! hehehe.. :] Firstly, I am going shoe shopping. I saw this fantastic pair from Aldo and I wont be able to sleep if I cant have it! Then I've got to transfer some funds to my brother who's currently on his first year in uni. At 23, I decided to become noble. I am sending him to La Salle for ECE and gawd knows how much the tuition is! arrr!

Also, I'd be meeting some friends for dinner tonight. I used to participate in a political organization at school and Dexter, one of our heads just got back from Dubai. I am quite excited to see him after 5 years!! Yay!
