Apron dress is the new black! uhhh....No.

As promised, here are the photos of my FIRST EVER handmade dress!! I know! I know! It looks like an apron but who cares??! Hahahahaha! I spent 6 bloody hours trying to construct this thing and all I can ever be is proud and happy! :P Yaay!! But you know what, I've worn this for 2 days while lounging around the house after work...ha! I like it very much despite well...errmm.....the apron look.

I chose this pattern because I thought it's the simplest thing I could do, other than pillow case of course...but cutting the fabric and making sure they fit alright is no joke. Even those pink pipings on the neck part is a lot of work....but nonetheless, the entire process made me happy. Sewing makes me darn happy! ARRGHHHH!!! Now I want to make a maxi dress! and a tiered skirt! Yeaaah...am that ambitious! hahahah!

And, I also made a pair of pj's for my nephew Migs. Yeah baby! Wooohooo! :) I think they look COOL! :) (sorry...am really hyper when excited,LOL). This little guy likes cars and dinosaurs soooo much, hence the patches. I made those as well! Yay!

Happy midweek everyone!

Nice dress - and don't worry about it being simple, everyone has to start somewhere!

Hey! I'm not sure how big the scarf is off the top of my head but if you go to the AA website and visit the circle scarf page the dimensions are there...
