Soaked up the sun...
This so far has been one of my bestest trips for 2009. A deserted cove in the upper west side of the Philippines. Purely unscathed. It's sheer beauty is beyond words, I swear. It took me and my good friend Loyd about 4 hours coach ride and then another hour in the boat to get here but its all worth it. Unlike other known beaches here in PI, which are often crowded and very touristy, there were only about 10 visitors in this island plus some indigents, which is really really GREAT coz we have the whole place to ourselves!! AAAAAARRRRGHHH!! :))) No hotels or any of those crappy tourist lodges. We just basically pitched our tent by the shore and knotted our hammocks under the pine trees. :) Simply my kind of thing.
Its funny how these coves are surrounded by pine trees instead of coconuts. :) It's unusual for a tropical beach to grow pines but you know what, it does NOT look like it's out of place at all or something. In actual fact, they're so nice to look at and it adds to that tranquil and enchanted feel of the place. Am truly amazed!
I spent the whole day eating, reading in the hammock, dipping in the warm crystal clear water, puffing weeds, sun bathing, laugh tripping, eat again, sleeep, puff, eat, sleep, puff, eat sleep. Hahahahhahahh! Believe me, its FUN!! Haahahahah! For the longest time, I had a proper chillax....just what I needed before the year ends.
